My ex emailed me today and told me that she had spent all this money on the house this weekend. What do I care? I don't live there anymore! We are split up and I don't want to hear about your life because I am not in it.
I sent her a very short email and said nothing. I guess I should remain coordial for the time being but I am definately over the please come back phase.
I think that it helped that I felt like a wallet with legs for the past two years. There was no support or emotional support. I know what I want out of life and I am going to be all the more choosey this time.

You just have to find the right person to share life with. I really know what I want out of life and I wasn't getting there with my ex. I always hoped that she would come around but she didn't. It is her loss because I was a very good husband and I treated her great even when she wasn't too good to me.
Marriage isn't a sham. It is just that people don't take vowels as seriously as they should.
It's really crazy. I see things on TV especially like the comedy stuff where guys are all talking about how miserable marriage is and how annoying the kids are. I actually wanted to have a family and enjoyed it a lot. I never felt like I was missing out on anything. I'm done now though, I'm not letting anyone else have any say in my life ever again.
