My X mother in law blatantly said I could fix her some of my homemade eggrolls if I wanted to. With Mother's Day coming up, does she expect I would do this for her for Mother's Day? She and I have no quarrels, but seeing her take her son's side and turning a blind eye to all the lies and cheating he did, I don't like this woman anymore than I did when I was married to her son.

Any thoughts or comments?

That sounds like something my ex-mil would do. She never contacts me unless she wants something.

Heard through the grapevine that when she first met the ow that she thought the ow was "nice." MIL changed her tune when the ow got pregnant, broke up with ex, moved back with her husband and all the stories came out about her bankruptcy, gambling problem, etc. Now MIL is not so sweet on her. But I don't care.

I'm not on bad terms with my MIL; I just keep a comfortable distance.

But in your case, I wouldn't be making any egg rolls for her.

I would just make them and let the kids give them to her as a Mother's Day gift. Just maybe make one or two not alot.

Here's what I would do...get a card for the kids to give her for mothers day and put a copy of the recipe inside. She can make her own eggrolls.

If my mother-in-law were still alive, I'd do anything I could for her. If she were still alive, I have a feeling I wouldn't be going through this stupid divorce.
