Here is a post for that unsung hero, Wylie Coyote. A lot can be learned from this iconic cartoon character.

Wylie Coyote chases after the Road Runner episode after episode. He is always thinking up of a new scheme to catch the Road Runner but most of his schemes don't work. Still, he places his order to Acme and still he tries.

Wylie has fallen off of a cliff, had boulders dropped on him, been blown up, ran into a wall at high speed, and been shot but he still is chasing the Road Runner, he never gave up.

What can we all learn from this? It is the shear tenacity to never give up. Keep chasing that Road Runner. Just like Wylie Coyote, you will, one day, catch him (Wylie did in an episode and he let the Road Runner go because he realized that he would get bored without chasing the Road Runner).

I think it taught kids that they are invincible. I can't tell you how many friends I lost to TNT explosions!

Wylie wasn't crazy, he was just persistent. He was always coming up with new plans. Most of them didn't work but he didnt' wine about it, he just kept on devising a new plan. He never gave up.

In tough times we must be like Wylie and keep re-thinking things until it works out. Either way, we have no choice, we can never give up.

Okay...and I have a lot in common with Wylie from my College Athletics Experience! LOL. I know how Wylie feels when he fell off of a cliff.

At one time there was an actual A.C.M.E. catalogue online with all kinds of gadgets in the road runner/coyote tradition. Eh I just googled it. the online version is not around anymore.

FYI...I was a springboard diver in college and I dove one and three meter springboard. That is why I know how Wylie feels when he went off of the cliff!

Actually the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Me, I prefer to invest my time in a more likely prospect. But I do love the cartoon!
