Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

One thing you wrote struck me as odd....keeping our son happy. I hope you two do not jump through hoops doing that. The kid has to learn life isn't constant happiness or that you must depend on other people for happiness. It's just not healthy.
Best of luck to you and your family
It could be much more, including physical intimacy.
You two should go into marriage counseling and sever ties with that couple.
Get a different job.
If she's willing to really give you the chance that's great. But I would find out if she's truly sincere. I wasted 8 months figuring we'd get back together so it was crushing emotionally but I did get my head out of my ass ultimately so there is that positive. If she's falleqn out of love with you I think it may be a lost cause. She may be just not ready to bolt financially or whatever and doesn't want to upset the apple cart yet. I'm happy shel seems to be giving you a chance but be cautious it's not too late. I firmly believe if the feelings are gone it's very hard if not impossible to get her to get them back if she sees greener grass over the horizon and is silently working toward that goal. My ex admitted to me she had thought of leaving for 2 years so there wasn't anything I could do at that point to change her course. Good luck to you.
I really do not have adequate words to describe how horrible I feel for you. Your wife and best friend. I know it happens, but I will never understand how either the wife or best friend lets something like this happen. I'm sure he wants to still be friends, but when push comes to shove, he just was not there for you. He could have said no and sent her on her way. Your wife COULD have found other things to keep her occupied till you could spend more time with her.
I am just so very sorry for your pain. Wonderful son you have!!!!
I don't think you blew it--------you could have done better, but she was the one who ultimately blew up the bomb. If you want it fixed, I wish you the best, but please don't take all of the blame. I was ignored for years and just found other things to do.
I wish you well and tons of happiness in the future.
