Hi everybody 


i am a lesbian and my wife just told me yesterday that she didnt wanat to be married no more.  it was a shock.  i don't no what to do.  i can pay the bills here but i am so freakin out.  she left today.  i think she has another girl.  i feel dizzy and like im goin to puke.  i called in sick because im so tore up about this.


we been together something like five years.  been married two.  anybody have any advice?


my wife was more like a guy and i dont know how to do stuff arond the house.  im so lost!

You just ended a relationship and considering to be with someone to get over your wife..That's unfair to the new potential girl. You have all the excess bagger and hurt. How do you think the new relationship will not hurt you again? How do you know this relationship work this time? Do you even know what was wrong on your marriage why she left you for another girl? Iit doesn't mine her actions are justified. I hope you take this time to know yourself and be a better person for the next. Read a book/audio book "Getting pass your break up".

As for your dilemma about the house, download an app called Nextdoor. Your neighbors will give you suggestions on who to call or good handy person that can help you fix things.

I understand what you are going through. I have been with my wife for almost 20 years, married 15. About a year ago, she said she needed more independence. I encouraged her to reach out to old friends, to reconnect. There was one in particular that she reconnected with, and I encouraged her to talk to her on the phone, often. She went to meet her at a neutral location (she lives about 6 hours away) over a year ago. Things were a bit tense with us, but still in love and still intimate. She visited her at her home in April, and things got worse with us. She went again last weekend, and this week has been bad. We said she still loves me very much, but wants to work on our friendship. I am trying very hard to give her what she wants, but I am the only one making an effort. I think she is in love with this other person and is going to leave me. I know this isn't helping girl_alone, but I feel like we are in the same situation. I feel like I can't do this by myself. I built my life with her, and planned my future with my wife. Now what?!?!

Thank you alovetolast. that was crazy talk. not going to start something now. i will look for the book.

adventure that sucks. the writing is on the wall for sure. if you are the only one making an effort thats bad. shes already emoitionally invested in the friend.

i guess just ask her. be prepared for her answer. at least then you can do what you need to do to move on and heal. im looking for a lawyer thats a whole nother experience.

Woah, hold on a bit, you're not ready to be with someone else. You have to be good with YOU first, really good with yourself, before you can be involved in a healthy relationship. No one else can fix the hurt inside your heart except you. Being with someone else is not a fix, it's a temporary bandage. If you keep using temporary bandages, eventually that untreated hurt inside festers and you have to deal with the consequences of it. It's better to feel the pain now, deal with it, heal it, then move into another relationship. We're all doing this, you can too.
