Wife left me after 25 years of marriage :(

My wife left me me after 25 years of marriage. Went to the beach with the kids, said she would be back in a week, Friday before Father's Day weekend, and didn't return. The following week, bank balance dropped by 50%, and 5 days later was served with a protective order. After paying huge sums for legal retainers, working through temporary support agreements, I'm watching my former life disappear more and more daily. I'm left in the house with all these reminders of my wife and kids that just barely a month ago were all here. I am only able to see my children in supervised visits, then graduating to visits with family counseling and by October ramped up to expanded standard. Meanwhile, life is upside down teetering on the brink. I really can't support two households for long. Gotta sell this house and get out of here. I'm a foolish for holding on to a tiny shred of hope that she might consider reconcilliation? I'm so heartbroken. Looking for support. Thanks much.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...

I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

I think many of us hold out hope until the day Of the divorce
for reconciliation. I thought my Ex would come to his senses.
He didn't, he had Someone new that he wanted to be with. He
Was very serious about the divorce and leaving.

I think at first we cling to the hope because we are not used to living alone. The quiet and isolation is suffocating. She held all of the cards with our kids and would not give them to me more than every other weekend. We had our first custody case Thursday, and the referee saw fit to provide me with greater visitation. I had to be patient. But it paid off. She threw every possible piece of mud at me, but thankfully the judges have a way to see the truth.
For you it may take time. But it sounds like you are well on the way to proving you're a good and fit father. For your kids sake I hope you are. Take pride in yourself control, and give yourself a chance to heal and understand your new life. It will take time. Hell, I myself am struggling to figure out new things to do and to enjoy in life. Consider the fact that if she was as unhappy as she appears to be, how your life would be with her still in it. She did you a favor. Celebrate each day as the greatest gift she gave you after your kids.
