I am trying so hard to separate my self emotionally from my stbx, but I am finding it very hard to do. He is going away next week he told my daughter it was a working vacation helping a friend with his house. He just told me he is going away. I can't stop thinking that he is meeting one of his women since he always picked women from out of state to talk to. I know I should not care, I am the one that wanted him to leave, I am the one that wants the divorce. It just upsets me that he can be doing this, and also that has the money to go away. Money he says he does not have. Me I am spending my vacation home not doing anything, yet he is going away. Thanks for letting me vent

How about making your "home" vacation a special one? Do something special for yourself. You are the one who wanted him to leave. You are the one who wanted a divorce. Just remember the reasons why you wanted these things. Hope you can enjoy your vacation.

Rman's right - do something special for yourself and your daughter every day this week on your Stay-cation. It doesn't have to cost a lot of money. Treat yourself.

your both right I know. I know I have to stop obsessing on what he is doing and just live my life, I do know this. And I am going to try to make the week special. I told the kids we can't do to much, but we can go to the beach and our big day because it will cost the most will be the city. Both kids and I also have wanted to go see the Rock n Roll hall of fame, so we will take the train in and go to that. Maybe walk around the city awhile I love it there. So I will make it work. Thanks. I will think all good thoughts and not dwell.

well...while youre there....have a picnic in the park.... lay down and make shapes out of the clouds...you'd be amazed at how creative and imaginative kids can be...

Big hugs...amd I hope you have a wonderful "vacation" with the kids...take lots of pics and scrapbook them!! They grow up so damned fast...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
