We dont talk bad about other peoples parents in fron of those kids.
I send my kids bday letters and weekly letters from their mom with presnests holiday stuff and the like.
My wife has abandon us after the divorce.
I only tell them the truth about her.
I skip the bad.
and keep it real.
SO far they dont resent her but miss her.
We do counoling and more.
Get a book about how to raise kids in a break up or divorce.
And follow it.

that said, her continued neglect in child support only makes them suffer. Being a good parent is about a hell of a lot more than giving hugs and kisses every two weeks, taking them to movies and telling them you miss them.
