When you forgave her 2 months ago, was she remorseful? Did she swear not to cheat again? Or, did you just forgive her real quick because you didn't want to deal with it.
You could start individual therapy. Talking to a therapist helps to set goals for your life, to raise self esteem.... It helps to talk to an outside person.
Do you have kids together?
You say you love her. But think about it, do you love a woman who readily cheats and lies to you? Is that your definition of "love". Just things to think about.
How did you find out about the cheating??
I am just wondering if she has any plans to stop cheating, or has she already met another guy and she is going to leave the marriage soon anyway?
Hard questions to face, for sure. But this is your life and your happiness at stake. It's not where you want to be, but unfortunately this is the reality of what is happening. It is not your fault. You did nothing wrong. She is choosing these actions. You need to look out for yourself first and foremost.
Be strong
There are many reasons not to leave a marriage, say you have kids, say you need the spouses financial help or you are sick or something.
When we have high self esteem, we do not put up with abuse. But predators find low self esteem people to take advantage of. Cheating is taking advantage of the spouse.
And let's talk about forgiveness. I don't believe that instant forgiveness is real. We say the words and we want to forgive but first we have to process our feelings. Instant forgiveness skips the feelings part, the deep introspection, the prayers if you are religious, the journaling, the healing. So what you probably did was skip over how you feel and get to instant forgiveness which is a way to ignore how we feel and pretend everything is okay.
Do consider getting counseling for you to explore how you feel and why you accept abusive behavior and stick around for more. You will learn a lot about yourself with the right therapist and be able to find inner strength to decide what you want your life to look like.
Think about your self respect. Allowing abuse negates our self respect and we feel worse about ourselves. But deciding enough is enough elevates our self respect. No one feels happy about a spouse cheating, and then serial cheating is even worse.
And first of all, get yourself to a good family law attorney and find out your rights and responsibilities with a divorce with this woman. In my state, if you can prove adultery, the cheating spouse can be forced to pay the attorney fees of the none cheating spouse. Of course, that doesn't mean the cheating spouse actually pays them. Some people simply don't care.
She clearly doesn't care about you or your feelings.
