OK IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM- U TELL UR EX ITS OVER AND HE / SHE KEEPS COMING BACK INTO UR LIFE AND BEGGING FOR ANOTHER CHANCE? MY EX CALLED ME YESTERDAY- WANTING NOT A 2ND BUT A 17TH CHANCE- YES BEFORE U ASK I AM THE BIGGEST FOOL IN THE WORLD..... BUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO THIS STORY OMG U JUST DON'T KNOW...I FIND OUT THIS WEEKEND (HOPEFULLY ) IF I AM PREGNANT OR NOT- AND IF SO HE IS THE FATHER- I DON'T WANT HIM BACK- BUT I DO WANT HIM TO BE IN THE BABY'S LIFE- IF THERE IS A BABY.... I SPENT ALL LASTNIGHT TALKING THIS IDIOT OUT OF KILLING HIMSELF- AND NOTHING WAS WORKING SO I YELLED- "YOU CAN'T KILL YOURSELF I MIGHT BE PREGNANT WITH YOUR BABY !" AND THEN HE BROKE DOWN AND CRIED AND TOLD ME HE WAS SORRY AND WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING STUPID ...THIS MAN IS LIKE A DEMON THAT WON'T LET ME GO - I JUST HAVE TO QUESTION ONE THING THOUGH- IF IT DIDN'T WORKOUT ALL THOSE 16 TIMES- WHY DOES HE THINK THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT? I DEDICATE THAT SONG - LOVIN',TOUCHIN', SQUEEZIN' - BY JOURNEY TO HIM.... I LOVE THE MAN - BUT FOR GODS SAKE I WAS TRYING TO MOVE FORWARD AND BE A LESS DEPERESSED PERSON ! WHY MUST HE DRAG ME DOWN? ANYWAYS JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE - ALSO IF ANY OF U HAVE A SONG TO DEDICATE TO AN EX- FEEL FREE TO SHARE ...... TAKE CARE EVERYONE ! LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD.....

It sounds like he needs it every two weeks and you keep giving it to him.

Possible baby now?

With a married man?

You need to regroup and look at what damage you have done for one thing.

Its not just you and him...he has a wife, and now maybe an innocent child is in the frey.

Maybe a councelor would be helpful...not to excuse it, but to explain it all.

yeah i have thought about all this - sorry to say- the wife left him and he is now where he should be all alone- though i don't blame all this on him - its a 2 way street and i'm to blame too- and yes i'd love to have a counselor to talk to- unfortunately my insurance won't cover that and i can't afford it- honestly i regret everything i did and i know sorry is not enough- and yeah i do see myself as a horrible person... i feel that way anyways- and its not an innocent childs fault- so if i am pregnant the baby will be loved and cared for to the best of my abilities - i just want this man to realize i'm not gonna come back into his life when he calls and he has had a bad day- no it wasn't a he wanted it and i gave it thing- it was a she was gone and they were seperated or so i thought - it went down like that- and when i found out she was back i ended it- and she kept going away- so maybe all 3 of us are crazy?...

Wow 17th try?

I have cried for 4 straight days and my wife looks at me with no more pity than a dead deer on the side of the road.

Id kill for one more try.

If you are giving him "booty" calls, he is never going to get over you, and decide what he really wants. Nor are you. I had a best friend go through this and she got pregnant, he went back to her, she screwed him over even worse!! And now he has 18 years of child support he wouldnt have had before!

Because you are cute...hahahahha...really, my ex wanted back many times, but I said no in every one of them. It is tough, but I needed to do for self preservation....I felt like Bush going into the war, lacked a reason to try again. My 2 cents.

I've been divorced for over two years and my ex STILL begs me back. He still cries when I go over there to drop or pick the kids up. He's a good guy - I'm just not IN love with him anymore and that will never change. You have to stay strong. Good luck

Move on and move forward. Being pregnant is no reason to stay in a relationship that is not healthy. If it's not healthy for you it won't be healthy for this potential child. And people who intend to kill themselves don't advertise it. Telling you is his way of manipulating you and it seems you allow it to happen. The moment you stop allowing this to happen is when it will stop. AND in order for him to be in the life of this would be child does not mean he has to be intimately involved with you.

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE ON MY POST JACJAC- I TOTALLY AGREE AND NOPE ITS NOT WORKING- I KNOW HE IS BLUFFING- SO HE CALLED AGAIN ALITTLE WHILE AGO CRYING - I TOLD HIM TO GO TALK TO HIS SIS AND HIS FAMILY AND HE WOULD BE FINE AND U KNOW WHAT- HE WILL AND SO WILL I- BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE HE ACTUALLY SAID TO ME- IF U AREN'T PREGNANT I HAVE NOTHING TO LIVE FOR - THAT DOESN'T PUT ANY STRESS ON ME OR MAKE ME WORRY ABOUT HIS STATE OF MIND- NOOOOOOOOOOOOO - OH WAIT I MEANT YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS- I THINK I SHOULD CALL IN THE WHITE JACKETS....

my friends are going with me to get a pregnancy test and i'm taking it at their house....should know something soon..by the way his family supports me in this and told me they are there for me 100% and they respect me ....

My x played the suicide card as well. I talked him down that day, called and let his family know, made an appointment with a therapist for him the next day, even drove him there and waited through his first session to be sure he went. Then I turned it over to his family and refused to deal with his problems for him. I finally realized after 20 years together that I could not be personally responsible for his well being if he was not willing to take any responsibility himself. He begged and pleaded for months but finally got through it and moved on. Now, over a year later, he just avoids me because he says it is too painful to see me. That is fine with me. I have finally moved on. But I wish he could get to the point where it wasn't painful for him. Our daughter is 18 but there are still things that she needs both parents for. He keeps coming back because you keep giving in. Stop taking his phone calls and let it go to voice mail. If you are pregnant, deal with him in regards to that and that only. Turn his issues over to his family.

As much as I hate to quote TV Dr's LOL as Dr Phil says, what are you getting out of this, it's working for you in some way as well so why complain about him yet continue to play the game.

Your not responsible for him. You can have compassion for him without involving yourself if you TRULY dont want to be with him.
