I was talking to a friend who lives near the airport, and it got me thinking about where I would go if I could just get on any plane today. I decided Rome, yep, say Hi to the pope, visit the sistine chapel, see the fountains, retrace the steps from the Dan Brown book Angels and Demons. Dinner tonight at Sabatini's, and OK, since I'm inviting, dinner's on me.
Where would you go today, if you could?

I've been to Italy - Rome, Pompei, Isle of Capri, Florence it was the trip of my life - I did this while in high school - some day I would like to go to Ireland, Scotland and England, Spain, Portugal and most definitely Greece

I would go Hawaii, walk the beach, watch the sunset and the sunrise.

I would go to Ireland. Take in the countryside and all the small villages. Maybe a little side trip to Amsterdam to experience it.

I would take my fly pole and head to Alaska to fish for Salmon

I would go to my favorite spot in Pittsburgh - a stream nestled in the heart of a city.... hidden from life and absolutely beautiful!

Alaska, a log cabin, fire place, stocked pantry, 3 or 4 good horror or suspense novels, a bunch of firewood, and 3 feet of snow at the door.. ..

Madagascar and the Galapagos! I'd swing by Machu Pichu, Peru and end up somehow in Dublin for some fun.
