I just wish it wasnt so hard to meet decent men. I tried the online dating, and I have to tell you that is such a long shot to find someone. The only person that seemed to be ok turned out to be the date from hell. He forgot we were suppose to meet so he showed up late, sat there and told me how he cheated on his wife, but that is not why they are divorcing. He is divorcing her because she gained weight and has emotional and health problems. And was so distracted by the TV they had up in the bar/restaurant. And so much more.
The other responses I am getting, which is not much, are really not very good. Since I went through so much with my ex I dont want to settle just to have someone, but I dont want to be alone either. I have joined many things , but mostly women it seems joins a lot of activitys (probably to meet men) the good thing that is coming out of my clubs is I have met a lot of nice women friends.
So my original question where are all the men?

Good Luck to you all. I find it really hard to believe it's really that bad.
Back when I was 32, I dated an older woman (my age now). We hit it off very well, until I told her she looked beautiful after about a month or two. She gave me weird look (shock or panic) and after that, she was always busy and eventually disappeared.
Definitely the weirdest way for a relationship to end for me.

I travel way too much (almost weekly) for work so its kind of hard to build a relationship with someone when your always in the air or another city. huh maybe I need to date flight attendants!
I was thinking a secret code or something - but I like the T-shit idea - and you can even develop them in the DS store. Created one that said after 17 years of marriage all I got was this lousy T-Shirt!
I have been thinking of bringing a medical questioner, background check and psychological evaluation - hell even have them give me a UA!
Long story short - I think most people are good catches - they just need to be find someone that appreciates and accepts all their flaws and personality type.
Now I'm going to start a thread - worst first date, I have got to hear your stories!

Never seen a guy in the produce section of the grocery store! I have seen some interesting men there but they are racing about, so short of throwing myself in front of their cart not gonna have a chance to chat.
Pretty much convinced that putting myself out there again is not worth it at all. Don't need the aggravation and the bullshit that goes with dating.
@Joyride - that came to my mind too...do people on this board connect and chat? Seems like a few people would be good matches for each other!
I'm waiting for the guy who will parachute out of a plane in front of my tractor and hope I don't mow him over.
The best time to go to HomeDepot is the half hour befoe closing time. I get all kinds of help from guys my age. A lot of them not wearing rings.
