You have to do something that will set your profile apart from the others.
"Average" may mean something to you, but think about it this way: If you were watching a commercial and they said what they were selling was "average", you wouldn't be too excited about going out and getting some of...whatever it is they're selling.
I mean, it you want a Joe Friday "just the facts" sort of relationship, that's fine. But you can find those at church. If you're going through the hassle of making a profile and trying to make it an attractive profile, it has to be interesting.
I don't mean meat market. But if you're putting up a profile on a dating site, you have to do something different.
It's almost like putting out a resume; you only have a few seconds to make a good impression.

Which again, is another reason why I don't buy into the whole online dating scene.
As far as being athletic....I swim a mile a day six days a week.
I'm 5'7, overweight, beer belly, never owned nosehair clippers with a pencil dick.
Ohh....and probably drives a corvette or mustang.
