there are still ways for you to get out. maybe you should consult an attorney. don't live in misery!
Like you said, your co-workers don't know what you've been through.
I find it strange that they should feel the right to tell you how to behave, considering they don't know the whole story. They sound like a bunch of dopes to me-sorry
Hugs to you, gottabreath
When my co-workers finally found out about all the verbal/emotional abuse I'd undergone, they said, "We had no idea it was this bad."
Go through with your plans. If they are truly your friends and care, they will understand.
Sending loads of hugs! Stay strong.
After my husband abandoned me and my daughter and we had nearly a year apart, I had the harebrained idea to move across the country to try to reconcile again! Now my daughter and I are miserable (he acts a lot like you describe your husband) and we are (temporarily) stuck here!
It will be all right....
Here's what I learned, though....don't share your business with others. DS is mostly fine, because these are not people you have to see every day who are going to try to tell you how you live your life....but people in real life often meddle and interfere so much that you don't end up knowing what you want!
If you have to go talk to the landlord, you can....DON'T make a hasty decision....but for goodness' sake, stop sleeping in the same bed with him! Wouldn't you rather sleep on the floor or on an air mattress? ;~)
This may take more time than you want it to....but the key is to figure out what YOU want without interference from others whose life this is not.
Big hugs and I'm here if you ever need to vent.
