I would tell her to go to hell, honestly. She trusted you enough to HAVE children with you, so she should trust you enough to take care of them.

Take digital pictures of the interior of the apartment (not the exterior so she can't figure out where you live) and email the photos to her. I would not let her stroll through your apartment alone. No telling what she could do.

If she has a restraining order against you, you need to be very careful about contact with her. If you allow her to come to your apartment, have a friend there as a witness or better yet ask a police officer to come over.

I guess I don't understand that. and I would not allow her in your home for 5 minutes alone with a RO in place.. She would have to have someone that is neutral and approved by you with her if It was me.. .. You are the father, why does she get approval . You are an equal parent,. This just seems odd, but if you want to just get her off your back, have someone with her to protect your interest and let her have her walk through. I will see what others have to say about this.. I just feel a need to protect yourself with a RO in place. Kimmee

If she can deny access to your children over this, I would recommend having a third party (mutual friend?) do the walk through. No way I'd allow my ex into my house unattended!

Maybe she plans on hiding a video camera while you sit in your car during her walk through. Ouch...what a woman. Do you watch Two and a half men? She sounds like Judith. Sorry. I'd tell her no. So what if she asked to see the apt, did the court give her this authority? The court wants you to have time with your kids, and you and the kids deserve this. She has no authority to approve your housing.

How old are the kids? If they are young, I think you should let her see it. I'm a mother and although I have not asked YET to see my stbx's new place, I would like to see how my children are living. I wouldn't give her 5 minutes though. It doesn't take that long to do a walk through. She doesn't need to look in your cabinets or anything like that. If you can't walk through with her, I suggest you use one of your friends or relatives to walk with her so she doesn't get too nosey. Keep the kids out of it. Who knows what comments she might make to them about your place or you. I understand that you want to keep it for yourself, but that doesn't change just because she's seen it. And it will show you are being cooperative and doing what is in the best interest of the children. I think you can still get the message across that she's not welcome. Just tell her you are letting her see it as a courtesy 1 time.

I don't want her in my home. I don't like the way she is treating me. I don't like the fact that I didn't get to say good bye to my kids Friday night. She almost ran me over trying to leave. My kids were upset from what they saw. I don't like the fact that my daughter has to have her cell phone with her the whole time the kids are with me so stbx can talk to them anytime she wants, while stbx keeps the cell phone and decide, if she feels like it, to have my daughter answer the phone or not. I don't like that she uses the kids anytime she doesn't get what she wants. I don't like that she takes my name off from everything I helped pay for, like ez-pass, costco membership. Just because it was in her name doesn't give her the right to take me off the membership.

Your ex sounds nuts. I have never been to my stbx's place and don't ever intend to. If you are allowed to respond to her email, just say sorry, that's not possible.

Somerdad - you be the good one - within reason. In the end, your children will recognize who made this awful thing (divorce) so difficult. Just keep saying, "she's nuts, she's nuts and I'm not"

Tell her no unless she can produce a legal order to do so. When the kids are with you, she has no say in what, where or why.
