I like # 9, but I like knowing I have the companionship of a man to talk to. They listen so differently than women do and sometimes that makes a difficult situation very easy to deal with.

The way I feel wrapped in a man's arms..laying on their chest as I sleep listening to their heart beat...

A man that really listens. I have found someone who doesn't try to fix everything and give unwanted advice. He really listens and tries to understand. Also a man who is intelligent. I love listening to someone who knows a lot about so many different things. I could go on and on about the things I love.

i like a guy with a good sense if humor. Life has too many problems to stay serious...WE need to laugh.

Well, I don't know what to tell you, soon. Safety isn't all we need... Maybe it wasn't you that was the problem. Maybe she was just following what she learned from her childhood. You may never know. I ask questions all the time but will probably never get the answers that will suffice my sensibilities.

I love men and always will. I feel bad for men because they are expected to be so many things to women and sometimes we're still not satisfied. I agree that we want to feel safe but that's such a broad answer. We want to feel protected from the world, from strangers, from family; we want to feel as though you care about us being vulnerable enough to put our lives and hearts in your hands. I need to be able to go out into the world and become an achiever. I need to be able to stand on my own but not need to. I need him to procect his family; keep a roof over our heads and keep us fed....I need the security of knowing we're in this together; you don't have to do it on your own because I'm here. I don't have to do it on my own because you're here.
My answer to this is so big I don't think I could finish answering. It's a hard job for both men and women to make the other person constantly know you love them. Constantly considering them in everything you do. Of course this is based on the idea of two people who understand committment.

Heave, guns kill but tools fix and remodel. Us women like that. lol

Yeah...but the gunbelt was a tool of the trade.....I was and will probably be, again, a police officer.
