Well, there is a difference with lying and not being totally honest all the time... Can you imagine in society if we were 100% honest all the time. We'd be at eachother's throats!

I sometimes feel it is ok to omit, but never lie.

Lying is not an option. Omitting (thank SIege) is a better term but even omitting is not the right word. Even what we omit to say not ot hurt the other may end up hurting us in the long run. No one of us tells the truth 100% of the time. If you thing you do, you are lying to yourself. It's tough to be human.

I believe if you can't say something nice, just keep your big mouth shut, but that's not lying to me. I consider myself to be painfully honest so don't ask me something if you don't want me to tell the truth.

If I ever find someone again...

I'm not going to volunteer my past loves and hates to them... if they ask I'll tell but I won't go running around telling them all about my failed marriage and my failed engagement and how the man I was engaged too was the love of my life and how I probably still love him and will always love him.


some things are better left unsaid... but if I'm asked directly about it... I won't hide it.
