Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. For me, even though they drive me crazy at times, I am grateful for my 2 boys. I almost died giving birth to the first and had numerous miscarriages before him and it was a struggle to stay pregnant with both of my boys.
I am grateful for my mom, dad, and brother who, have tried to the best of their abilities, help me through all this.
I am grateful for my job, even though it's not even close to my ideal, the hours work and no weekends, holidays, or off shifts and am grateful in this economy to be making money to help support the boys to the best of my ability.
I am grateful for my DS friends and the support I get through here. I have met, in person, some wonderful people I would not have met otherwise. To know we are all dealing and doing the best we can is the best inspiration anyone can ask for.
This may sound very weird but I am grateful this happened, not because it happened as I would not wish this pain on any family or person, but it has changed me and made me realize I need to stand on my own and make the best of what is dealt to me. It made me realize what the hell I married and what I will NOT accept in the future.
There are many other things I am grateful for, as well but it's 7:30 am and I am still not fully awake. Thanks for reading.

as you allow yourself to heal you start to see that they are more important things in life than your stbx/x...... life is out there ....go LIVE it....
My true north through his entire ordeal has been my children- they were the reason I got out of bed in the morning when I would rather have stayed under the covers and cried- and now they are my light.... I say a prayer of thanks every day that they are with me.

I'm grateful for parents who have supported me, loved me and always been there for me, my son and my daugther.
Iam grateful for a sister and brother who again have supported us, encouraged us and kicked me in the butt a few times throughout this journey.
I am grateful for lessons learned, for realizing my self worth and my ability to do this on my own. Grateful that I found my own strength and ability to get through to more stable ground. I am truly grateful for all that I have.
