Had to get my costume in order all ready because I wanted something authentic. I bet everyone can guess what I will be.
I ended up getting a few replica period pieces for my costume. I have sailor pants, the ruffled shirt, long belt, sash, and I bought a real cutlass (boarding sword). I hate the cheap costumes and I have been wanting to do this for years....the ex wouldn't have approved so I did it now :P

A co-worker of mine was messing around at my Lt.'s ex-wife's pool and he was dancing around a wooden pole. The pole broke, he fell, got a concussion and broke a rib and his collar bone! Yes...that is an absoulte mess because the Lt. is his supervisor too! The story is a much longer one but this will surfice to get a laugh!
Don't laugh! some years ago I traded uniforms with a UPS driver of the same size. On Holloween I wore her uniform to work and she wore mine. I bought those glasses with a nose, eye brows and a mustache and took off the black hair and cut some new hair from bright red fun fun. My Boss, at that time just about died! He thought I was going to go out on the road like that. I had brought another uniform with me, but the look on his face was priceless. I recently came across the UPS uniform.
I think it's time for my new boss to experience my "in your face sarcasm".
At the DS MI meetup last October, there was an...incident when I tried to show my new friends what I had learned in class after several shots of Tequila. Pgamble, rfuller can attest.
But mainly lots of bruises usually.
He never minded when it was.... nevermind... you get the picture.
Complete with the boarding cutlass. I may have to get a pistol too!
