I love my friends, they are great and supportive. We are currently on a buddies golf trip (originally set for April, but due to my extreme sadness they bumped it up for me).
Anyway, we are at a great place for golf and even more, it's a very touristy area. Seeing all these couples holding hands while walkng, eating and drinking together, taking memorable pictures, etc... Is doing more bad for me than good. Instead of hangng with the fellas and having a great time, it makes me miss having a wife even more. Last night they took me out for a night on the town, eating at a nice restaurant then bar hopping. I really appreciate their efforts, but seeing all the guys trying to hit on women just reminded me how shitty the dating scene is. I was happy being a family man! I don't want to let them know how I'm really feeling because they are making such an effort to do this for me, not to mention this is a pretty pricy trip, so I don't want them to think this is wasted effort and money.
I just can't wait to go back home tomorrow and be in the same house as my wife, even though she will not hug me and tell me she missed me while I as gone. I know she doesn't want to be there with me and is so excited about moving out to her own place soon.
