when I was younger I never wore the wedding ring I did not do any jewelery. I got to a point that I would have it on except at work(hazzards) Now that little piece of gold means so much to me that i dont want to ever take it off. And I miss haveing it on and the reason that I have it.

Im with you. I didnt wear mine the fist 9 years because of work. But this last year, things became tough for us and I vowed to never take it of. Now, she is gone, and I have this ring that I WANT so badly to put back on. It hurts

Well, like a lot of females, I always wore mine. Even when I was pregnant and my fingers were swollen, I didn't want to take it off.

He wore his all the time (or so I thought) and took it off permanently when he told me he wanted to separate (back in Oct). I didn't take mine off until we officially separated in Dec.

I really do wish that my husband valued his ring for the same reason I valued mine. I wish he was wearing it because he wanted to be my husband instead of needing me back so he doesn't have to pay child support. Its all about the money for him.

I have my husbands ring. i put in on my key ring.. not sure what to do with it!
i just want to cry everytime i see anything of his! or even think about him!

I was always proud tp wear my ring. Now its in a field somewhere behind my garage. I do have her engagement ring though and I'm gonna take that 1 karat rock and make me a ring out of it someday!

OMG - I hadn't even thought about the rings yet. We had them designed and made by a dear friend. I have always valued it for the friendship and love that I know went into making it as well as for the vows it represented.

It took me years to get used to wearing it, and now I have to reconcile to the idea that it might go away? Ick. Thinking about that later.
