I completely forgot my wedding anniversary was yesterday. I only remembered because I saw the word anniversary here.
I am so relieved that yesterday was just another day. I can't believe it didn't occur to me. I hope it was a good sign that I am truly moving on.
I have been busy with work, kids, and especially dating again, which is another issue I am experiencing.

I think it is great that you can move on with your life. Dating is a good sign. I have not gotten that far.

I forgot my ex's birthday in July, I was out of town having fun so I think that is why I spaced it off. I was relieved to know it had come and gone so I wasn't tempted to make contact with him.

Last year the Tuesday before our wedding anniversary my ex called me and asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner for our anniversary. We had already signed the divorce papers and gone to court so it was just a matter of waiting until it became official a couple months later. Who does that? I mean invite your ex out for an anniversary that isn't being celebrated anymore?? I pretty much called him a psycho and said no way!
I don't think he'll try that again this year!!!
