Feel the same as you Lianna. My ex has it all. I'm the one displaced and destroyed.
I was really interested in how others felt about it though. I guess if you felt it was worth it you can look back and be thankful you had it. If you don't feel it was worth it you can look back and be thankful you are out of it. It's a win/win if you look at it that way.
I dont know somedays I think Yes I would do it all over again, in a second, but then I think if I hadnt married him I wouldnt know what I was missing. I dont know i am just as wishy washy about this as I am about my divorce.
it's like having an affair with someone who is committed to someone already. what is the point? they probably aren't going to leave their mate anyway so what is really in it for you over the long term?
And, most importantly, maybe if I had chosen better, then those kids (whoever they are) whom I love so much and care so much for, would have had a chance to grow up in an intact and healthy family with two parents who love them and who work together in cooperation and set a positive example for them. No matter how much I love my kids, my kids are one of the biggest reasons I regret marrying my ex. I brought children into a painful and broken life. Was that worth it?
