My wonderful X is mad at me. because I am going to get his wages garnished for support.I have to do this because he does not pay on time or the checks bounce.. So now hes letting Son do everything I won't.. He letting our son go to a party tonight where theres going to be drugs and alcohol mind you my sons 15, party is for a kid turning 18. I took my sons phone away for throwing a temper tantrum ,he gave my son 1 to use this weekend. The list goes on and on, don't even suggest trying to talk to him his an ASS and would only yell and call me names.

I think I've been a pretty good X, I have put up with the finacail stuff for 3 years but hes getting worse, I never went off the deep end when he just wouldn't pick up the kid on his weekends or if he only kept him a few hours. Actuall I've been very accomaodating and tried very hard to be nice.

SO, WHATS UP WITH BEING VINDICTIVE?

That's so dangerous for your son. Is it possible to get state child protective services involved?

I think it's the "peter pan" syndrom.Mine has been being vindictive since I filed and has held up the divorce to "punish" me.He's done all kinds of defaults and dumping monetarial stuff on me every time I win in court(he can't hit me any more so is trying to hurt me financially).
I say call the police unexpectadlly while the party in under way(I did that at my own sons party)....
Wish I had a better answer,but am in a similar situation.

He is using his son to punish you, real mature. Don't you think. Maybe tell him to grow up and stop using the child to lash out at you.

Good answer from Deb. I would add document, document, document and use the info in court. Perhaps get his visitation limited or supervised.

I am sort of going through the same thing. X has kids and lets my 13 yo date. My 16 yo goes to parties and when I try to exercise my fatherly rights she dont want to see me. X has had her several boyfriends meet my daughters and I dont have a say. As long as the kids dont get hurt than child services wont do anything. Child support has put me in the poor house.
