up and down, all down tonight

Feeling awful tonight. I keep remembering when I was his girl and now I'm just a friend, and I'm lucky I'm even that since I broke his heart. It seems he wants to give me a second chance but he's making me work for it. Which is fine but the pain I've been having is unbearable. And what if he decides not to give me another chance, then the pain will just get worse. I can barely handle it now.

Brooklyn it's been, like, two or probably three weeks since he started "deciding".

How long can he decide?

One thing I learned: If a guy wants to be with you, he will be.

If he's making you work for it he's jerking your chain. He's punishing you for leaving him. That isn't right either. If he was serious about giving you another chance he would be more forgiving.

Well regardless I'm not dealing with the loss of him very well. I'm slipping into a depression.

When someone is told they are being broken up with, it does something to a person inside. It could break that trust, love, bond, connection and all sorts of other things, depending on the person and their strengths/weaknesses when it comes to a broken heart. While the person who did the breaking up does have some work to do in order to regain all that was lost, I don't believe that one should neglected or "punished" because of it.

Sure, a break up hurts, been thru them. but I can also say that when I had been broken up with, then the person who broke up with me realized it was a mistake or wanted to try again, I didn't hold back much. I mean, I was timid in the fact that I didn't want to get hurt, sure. But I was still open to giving it a chance and didn't "punish" that person for what they did. Especially if I still cared and wanted to be with that person, I wouldn't act in any other manner then trying to work on the relationship and make up for lost time.
