Yesterday my girlfriend and I broke up, and the reason was because of some things that were said about my character and my families character. It was pretty insulting.
she hasn't had the best relationship with my parents, she felt like she was bad talked amoung the family, and she then tried avoiding them. She didn't care for them
because of this avoidance my parents didn't care for her either and when we do go out to dinner with my parents they say she's kinda secluded and not really open.
after the big insult that was said to me, that I vented to my sister, my parents now hate her because of it.
my ex said she might be willing to talk to them about grevences and my dad has no issues with that but my mother is down right saying she won't speak with her and even if she does it won't change her mind.
a big thing for me is having my GF and my family not hate and resent each other, and with that there I don't see the possibility of a future and am unsure what to do?
