As a Christian, I have been battling with my decision to divorce my husband nonstop. Now that my divorce is final, the reality has set in. I feel so broken and hopeless and I don't know how to move forward without my husband. I'm looking for advice and spiritual guidance.

I too am a Christian. Divorce is truly hard for everyone. With faith, I believe one can make it through. Hang on to your faith now more than ever. Do you feel like giving some details. What happened to cause the divorce?

Its not much details to go on with but if you have been battling in the relationship then its seem its not a good one and you're better off without him, it hurt to let go but you're going to be ok, just keep your head up and do what makes you happy

I'm here to talk if you ever want to. I'm a Christian too; when we got engaged we were planning on basing our marriage on a spiritual component. He has now decided that's not for him and it's a huge part of my life. I'm struggling; I feel like there's a big hole in my chest. Not sure what you are going through but it sounds like there might be some similarities.

I am going through the same thing but I've been separated for eight years. As a Christian I don't feel that I am in the position to make that decision based on God's word. I had to search the scriptures on this subject and I believe that this is Gods battle so I am therefore waiting on him to repair this marriage. I must say though that it's not been easy and the only way I've been able to make it this far is because the Lord has carried me every step of the way. Search your heart and pray before making any decision that could affect the rest of your life. You're in my prayers. Stay strong. Romans 8:28, Proverbs 3:5,6

I can empathize with you. Remember there is always reconciliation, which will require forgiveness and healing to move forward. Take this time to understand what happen in the marriage on your part to get where you are. Learn from your mistakes and lift reconciliation up to the Lord. Praying for wisdom and discernment.

You're better off going to your own pastor/minister/priest for spiritual guidance than strangers over the internet. Or you can ask at your church, if they have any recommendations for Christian therapists.

I remember how when my ex left I didn't want to tell ANYONE. Breaking the ice and starting to talk about it helped so much. It may be hard to approach your pastor, but trust me, they've heard it all before.

If you don't have a church, in many parts of the country, all you have to do is let people know that you're looking and you'll get dozens of invites to their church.
