I'm trying so hard every day to stay strong but I'm actually just a mess I know I can't stop this from happening and it's probably best for me in the long run that I'm no longer married to someone who doesn't love me anymore but I can't stop crying about it it's also very scary . 20 years is a long time he's been my whole life and I just can't imagine my future without him ... I called lawyers today just to make apptments to interview a few so I'm thinking that's what caused my breakdown ...thanks for listening

I'm in the same shoes laying in the dark crying, broken hearted. They don't love us so we have to let them go. My husband move out i came home 1 day and just like that...gone!
I lost my mom 2 years ago it the worst heartache ever but all i can tell you is don't harm yourself and keep breathing. I love you. I am here!

I am here in the same boat - getting a divorce after 40 years of marriage. Many long years of marriage but on hindsight it was also many long years of denial on my part that he did not love me at all. He used me for sex and his pleasure. He continued his affairs while I devoted all my years to bringing up the children and cleaned the house, always hoping that he would return to be a faithful husband. I was wrong! He was caught in bed with my girlfriend! I felt this is the straw that breaks the camel back, I can't let myself go on anymore - him cheating on me all these years. I filed for a divorce! I am grieving nevertheless and in the midst of deep sadness and loneliness. My children have grown and moved away. I am all alone. I love all of you here and I know I will have the strength to move on...

It is scary but you are not alone. My wife of 19 years told me via email she didn't love me anymore. Lots of work since then to survive and someday thrive. Hang in there and stay strong. Not easy but I'm proof it's possible.

I feel your pain. It's hard. We were together 22 years. The pain is real. Break downs are expected. It's part of the grieving. The grief is real. We are grieving the death of a long relationship and marriage. Keep working hard at it. Stay strong. I know its hard but look after yourself. You will need to be strong for the long hard battle that is about to begin. But take the time you need to grieve, very important part of healing
