I know my emotions are running high over the last few days events,but Im feeling as if my world gets smaller with each passing day.
There are very few people in this world I would trust my life with, or that of my sons. My absolute best friend was one of them, or so I thought.
She has become the other woman in a mans relationship. She needed to talk about it last night. I want to be there for her, but in this situation I have nothing to say and I feel badly about that. There are 2 things I cannot bear to hear of....infidelity and hurting children.
My best friend has just watched her 3 closest friends have their marriages destroyed by infidelity.. She has seen all of our pain, been there to comfort us, and then BAM decides its ok to be the other woman??
Im being judgmental and dont want to be. I love here dearly, but after this, I dont know how much trust I have in her anymore. She blatantly said she doesnt care about this mans relationship with his partner, because she is getting what she wants. I was in shock....this doesnt seem to be the same woman who has been my best friend for the last 12 years. I feel guarded and that i need to keep my distance. And sadly....I had another friend who had an affair with a married man last year and felt like I had to cut ties with her.
What would you do? Would you feel as if you couldnt trust as much,or am I being overly sensitive?

Her choice to be the other woman will lead to her experience of the same event on the other side.
At the end of the day, she will come to the realization that even if something happens with this married man, in the future, the chances for her to be betrayed by him with again another woman are very high. He is already showing that he should not be trusted.
