Me too, you're not alone. I read the post where somebody said that if we thought about our relationships before the breakup, they were really not good. Not the case, at least here. Stopping that mental and emotional album is impossible at times. And after 9 months, I don't feel much better, and sadly, the support from friends and family is waning...

Inputflan. I agree with you. As far as I was concerned things were going great in my relationship as well. but my ex felt other wise. Hang in there we will be okay, I just think it takes time, it takes longer for some but there is no set time limit

Just keep coming to this site , it is very healing and the advice from others that have been there or in the journey with you is priceless.

I completely understand...was going to take Thursday and Friday as vacation days for a 5 day weekend. Cancelled those because it's too hard...especially this weekend because we were supposed to go away for the weekend AND it was a year ago this weekend we met/got together. Seems like everywhere there's a reminder. I feel like I simply exist on the weekends and want Monday to come so I can be busy at work. Trying to stay busy at home and work on the house but it's a struggle.
Hang in there...this, too, shall pass, right? At least I hope so...

The struggle is real! I don't break down crying but when the memories start flowing so does the tears. Go to bed thinking about him and get up thinking about him.

Taking the day off to spend with friends or family is great. I take days off and go for a bike ride when I have too much about the divorce on my mind. When it starts affecting my work, I need a small break

Crap!!! - I know the feeling - hang in there folks - it will get better. It sux to miss people - it really does. Try to go for a walk or spend sometime doing what you enjoy the most. So sorry.

yep, been there done that.....too many times to count! I am finally starting to look forward to weekends and time off where before I started healing I couldn't wait to leave my home and come to work. At least at work I feel protected, I feel needed and I feel respected and that I matter. And best of all, I no longer sit at my desk with big tears streaming down my face (I do that on my way to and home from work now......sometimes...and thankfully not every day) whew, those were some rough months.
