Tomorrow morning is the sentencing hearing for my ex-bf. . .for anyone who doesn't know the story he plead guilty to gross sexual imposition for innapropriate behavior with my 14 year old niece.

Anyway, I am a wreck emotionally and have been for the past week or so. I feel like any progress I had made is just gone now and I am terrified of what I will feel like tomorrow. I don't even know yet if I am going to go to the hearing - part of me wants to go and the other part doesn't know if I can handle it.

I just wanted all of you to know what was going on with me - I am in a pretty bad place right now and I hate it.

Here is a big hug to you! I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. Keep your chin up, you can make it through this and when you come out the other side you will be a stronger better person. You are worth so much, never forget that!

I hate the pain that we need to go through to change.

Why would you need to go aggie? Unless there is some compelling reason for you to go, stay away. No sense in putting yourself through that if you don't have to.

You're not in any way responsible for the actions of your ex BF. If you're feeling a little guilty that's understandable, but you're not.

Let this chapter in your life fade away into the past.

Thank you so much everyone - I have a really hard time admitting when I am hurting and asking for help but I am learning and it is nice to see that when I do there are so many people who care.

RR- A walk sounds nice but it is freezing cold and snowy out right now, so much for spring, maybe it will get nicer later.

SFY - As far as I know I don't HAVE to go, we get to write impact statements and as long as that can be used without me being there then I won't be compelled to go.

{{{{{aggie}}}}} Believe me when I tell you, I have a sense of what you're feeling. As it seems you have an option, I would definitely choose NOT to go. What happens will happen without you, and the pain of being there is so unnecessary for you.

Thanks woobie. I am sensing a theme in that most don't think it would be a good idea to go and I have to say I am inclined to believe them. My only thing was that in going it would maybe provide some finality but then again it may not even do that. My sister is going, my niece is not so if by some chance I decide to go at least I wouldn't be alone. I would have my sister and all of you behind me.
