Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

I'm new on here today. Spent the last hour reading some posts and not sure if that is helping or not. I haven't cried in the past hour, I relate to all of the pain - not sure I like that others are hurting so much too. My husband of 21 1/2 years moved out 2 weeks ago and is definitely "done" with me and hoping to have an amicable "divorce" for our daughter's (14 and 11). He is "happy with his new place, his new life, his new freedom, and believe it or not is drinking far less now" that he's moved out. I'm angry that he can finally get a grasp of his alcoholism now that he's "done" with me. But I'm mostly heartbroken and I'm afraid. I moved out of my family home when I was 18 to live with him, we married at 21, and are now divorcing at 43. I've. Ever been on my own. Trying to be strong for my girls but they catch me sobbing all the time and offer hugs which I definitely need and appreciate. He plans to start dating in a few months while the thought of ever being with anyone except him makes me physically sick to my stomach. I can't imagine a time when I take my wedding band off.
I wish it were years from now.
Anyways, my heart goes out to everybody on here also going through debilitating heartache and fear.
May we all heal and find pease and strength and happiness ASAP.
