It's interesting that so many here have other men/women interested in them already. I feel like once I'm divorced I will be single forever.

Great advice to spend time outside with your kids. Enjoy time with them! Dating is not a good idea as your head is not in it. Spend some free time with friends. Talking about things and LAUGHING is a great cure for just about anything. This is going to take a while so might as well strengthen relationships during this time.

Please don't say that! I know it's hard and I'm right there with you. My husband is here playing with the kids and ignoring me. Kids keep on asking for a family day and I keep on excusing myself because it makes me so sad. And he just sits there without any emotion without caring how I feel.....

It will be ok. You have wonderful kids who not only love you, but also need you very much. I'm not just saying this to you, I'm saying it to me too. We can get through this. We can. And you need to realize there are a lot of people out there who would be crushed if you were gone.

Koko, having people interested in you is nice and all, but I am in the boat where I don't think I will ever be able to date again. At least not seriously, because I don't know if I ever want to take the risk of feeling like this again. It's going to take time, and you just have to know that once you're ready, and that will happen, you'll have the knowledge of what works and what doesn't. That will make finding the right guy much easier.

Thanks montgoeeydad. I don't understand how he can go from a full tie dad and husband to an ocaasional text and FaceTime. My youngest FaceTime him today. My mother brought them food and took them to her house because I'm too sad to get out of bed. I hate this. I am trying to go no contact but he's been the one I go to for 15 years. I hear you, but if it's easy for him, you don't really need that in your life. Find someone who hangs on your every word, someone who will love you for you, and most importantly, someone who would never hurt you the way he would. You can do so much better. Now you have the chance to do so.

These feelings of despair are normal, that's why it's called heartbreak. But it's survivable, can u imagine the world if no one ever got over a breakup?
