My first complaint is this. I keep a journal. I have carpal tunnel and while its not awful I prefer typing to using a pencil. I set up an email account that is basically a journal and on my main email account I write myself letters. It works good for me. I go over there once a month organize any emails I sent into a folder and don't usually bother to look at them again. Its how I vent and work through my problems. So I go to do that recently and had an OH NO what did I do kind of moment. Three of my journal entries had been sent to my ex also. I was so embarrassed at first. These are private thoughts and not something I would ever have wanted him to see. Especially considering some of the thoughts were on him. So after the initial panic I figured out why the heck that happened. Near as I can figure the ones that were sent to him were ones I would start on early in the day save to draft and then add more to later. Email I use just had a revamp and usually I just push J for journal click on the name and send. Well he is also under the J in my address book so I am guessing that somehow when I was doing drafts then sending I would hit J again and not realize I was sending it to both the journal and him. Easy fix for me I just removed his email from my address book and it will not happen again. In the grand scheme of life it could have been much worse. However something just dawned on me today and now I am kind of pissed. This did not happen 1x but 3. I tried to put myself in his shoes. If I got an ex'es journal entry the first time yeah I would be curious and would read it and not say anything. Second time I am not an angel I would probably read it but at that point I would take 3 seconds to write them and say um do you realize your sending me these. Especially if you had seen some of the things I wrote it does not take a genius to realize those thoughts were not meant for him to see. 3 however is just unacceptable to me. I want to try to think some good of him and think hmmm maybe he sees them and just deletes them or blocked me. However there is this other part of me that is just furious that he has so little respect for my feelings that he did not let me know this was happening and they he could be reading them. In the end it does not really matter. It happened I cannot undo it and I fixed the issue so it will not happen again but it still kind of pisses me off that he did not let me know it was happening.

I guess there is a possibility your right Chi. I loved him for many reasons but he was not exactly the smartest guy. Reading over the ones I sent him it would have been obvious to me those were not meant for him. I like your theory better though than thinking he was just as ass and did not let me know he was getting them.

I know that it's nice to communicate but when your still trying to come to terms with betrayal it's hard to have to read about it

I agree with you momto22001, my ex supposedly hated the OW (who was his best friend's (my brother's!) girlfriend), and now he's moved her in before our divorce was finalized. She goes around bragging to people that he treats her like a princess, she never has and never will do any housework, and he does all sorts of activities with her (he hated leaving the house when I was with him and I did everything...cooking, cleaning, etc.). It hurts how much people change or are not who you think they are. I realize they are in the honeymoon phase and soon their cheating/lying ways will destroy what they think they have. Ugh, just one of those venting nights I guess!

i try and keep thinking over and over.............he is in the honey moon phase..........his hormones are running wild. one day reality will set in.
but that he treats her like a queen and me like the ol grey mare........it is sunk in deep........you were used girl, big time used.
then i switch my thoughts to other nice stuff. one day his 'real self' will show thru all too much with OW. He cheated on me more than once, has now racked up over 50K in debt on Credit cards/loans.....most of which he spent impressing her. and others. he will cheat on her if he is not already. karma will get him but, patience wears thin. that is when i focus on ME< ME < ME.

So true, what goes around comes around...we will all move forward and hopefully one day be happy. I can't wait for karma to come around and bite them:)

He will of course be wonderful at first. It will wear off, pretty fast. Don't worry, what goes around ALWAYS comes around.

I feel bad for the new person in situations like that. Well unless the new person was part of the problem that caused the break up. You should not be messing around with someone else's partner and you get what you deserve. New relationship your on your best behavior and your so perfect. Everyone does it or has done it to some degree. Sometimes I think we act like the person we really would like to be and how we want others to see us. Sometimes maybe a person can change and be a whole other person with someone new but from what I have seen most of the time that person will start to be more comfortable and when they know they have the other one hooked there true self starts to come through. I never did like the "honeymoon phase" of a relationship because of that. Sometimes it takes awhile to really see a persons true self.

FS - maybe he doesn['t use that email account anymore and is simply not getting your emails???
