Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I have also seen how much love will pour out of other people during my time of need. There is tons of love out there, just be open to it.
Good for you sir, keep up the good work.
SO hard to believe at the time. But I agree now. As a single parent, I've gained so much. We're a happy FAMILY...and we weren't that before. I have my Marine shirt saying: "Pain is weakness leaving the body." And it rings so true.
I'm glad things are looking up for you.
Hiya TSand! :-) We've missed you round these parts! To every negative there is a positive...thanks for posting this!
However, although I recognize these gifts, my mind is always focused on the trauma. We are still together but not recovering well. I just can't get it out of my mind, and is there with every waking thought.
Now I wonder if the obsession would improve if we split.
That is the key.....I would leave if I knew the obsession would improve, but I wish I knew this BEFORE I had to leave.
I will make a post with this question.
I don't have your clarity on the good news. However, I am changing and I know that there are signs that I am changing to be a kinder, gentler, wiser and more discerning person. For me, it is a slow process. I think having children at home is catalyst that might speed the metamorphosis. It forces us to focus energy outside of ourselves. For some, I suspect, this could block progress as they defer dealing with issues related to self.
In your case, you embraced the change and used it to improve yourself. Congratulations!
Godspeed
Stay true to you.
Thanks!
