On this date last year I was really depressed. I had problems with work, had a divorce looming over my head, and I felt so alone.
This year I have a new job that is going well, the divorce is done, and there is a possibility that I may have found someone special (time will tell here). I no longer have a huge black cloud looming over my head and the future is wide open.
The truth is that a year is a short amount of time but it can make a huge difference.
Birthdays were depressing to me. I was woken up this morning by a nice text message :) This year I am making sure that I have a great birthday, even though I am working tonight! My ex ruined my last 5 birthdays, this will not happen again. I am responsible for my happiness this year and I am happy :)

At least I know that I still got the workout. I have really gotten down in the last 6 weeks and it shows, big time. I am showing muscles in places I have never shown them before. One particular person commented on how she liked my arms and she said that they were ripped :)
Just got to keep putting the miles on. I have 126 miles on the bike that I bought 5 weeks ago!
