I so totally agree, I wish had listened to that advise back before my marriage broke down. And people tried to tell me, tell me to take a break/ moment for myself, but I thought I could do everything which I could not. What is done is done, and now I am off to a fresh start in life, and going to try my best to take care of me, so I can take care of those who need and depend on me.

New cowboy boots sound like fun Namaste, I don't have any, but I have thought about picking up a pair (with matching cowboy hat to complete the look). What kind did you get? Cooking sounds like fun too, I especially like cooking from scratch, with fresh herbs, using whole foods. Yum!

Ariats are somewhat the Cadillac of cowboy boots..... I usually get Ariats or Tony Lama's.....they both rock!

You're so nice, I love your post! I am learning how to take better care of myself. I have three kids so time is scarce but i am really trying to make time each day, if only a little where i do what i want and do not get interrupted. My youngest is finally starting school in January so i will have my mornings all to myself..I cant wait.

i find doing some artwork just for myself and not involved with work to be joyful. A one pointed mind concentrating on the creation causes everything else to drop away. And 6 hours can go by in a seeming moment. And afterward the sense of refreshment is amazing. It is actually energizing.

My son loves his boots too :) I bought him a pair of grey and black lizard skin while I was shopping yesterday.

He has always had a pair of boots since he was a year old...I have the cutest picture ever of him when he was about 3 in his boots, a pair of levis...and a mini motorcycle jacket LOL...so adorable!
