night time was the hardest for me too
if you work in ER, how about asking a coworker or two to go for a coffee after your shift?
I'll be home late tonight after a CD release party I'm photographing,
we should maybe have a "slumber party" here on the forum if you're home
I think we could convince Faithful to paint all our toenails.
So glad to see you back on the forum. I can't remember but do you see a therapist on a regular basis. I also like joyride idea of finding "beautiful calm little piece of Nature to sit and relax in." When I was going through my absolute worst times after I left the ex I remember walking for hours through my sister's neighborhoods. I loved looking at how people arranged their gardens and I often and spoke with the neighbors tending their gardens. Usually I asked questions about their gardens. Going outside in nature has always been my standby. Hang in there shantellew ---it does get better. Please take care.
Shantelle, add some new habits and do them regularly. That really helps with emotional swings. Things like adding a Sunday afternoon outing to the beach. Or, a Friday night visit to the library. Socially, if you are very shy, try this: Go to the library the same time, and every week. You will automatically become a regular and will soon develop friendships. People will approach you and speak. You won't have to speak to them first. If you don't like the library, think of someplace else.
wow, that must be one helluva therapist!
Faithful, start stirring now so I dont get all those gloppy bits in my cuticles, k?
I've often thought what is the point....I have those thoughts a lot. I can't talk to anyone about them because they will think I'm crazy. When I hear of someone dying I think at least they don't have to be in this rat race anymore. Because of a bad childhood I have little faith in God, figured if he wouldn't help me then why would he help me now. I understand about the cost of therapy you would think with something so vital it would be free. I feel lost in this world...read somewhere that "No one ever said life would be easy but it would be worth it" yeah right. I think something must be wrong with me because everyone else is so happy and I can't BUY happiness....and then I realize that people are a bunch of liars...the only difference between them and me is I let mine show way more than they do. So just hang in there....in case there is a bright future in your destiny. I'm sticking around because I may win the lottery. {{{{shantellew))))
