My wife of 12 years became horribly mean and acted like a completely different person suddenly from one day to the next. 2 months later, she walked out with no notice or explanation. She and my best friend planned it. They are together now. I caught them cheating and got blamed for it and told that it wasn't a big deal. Next thing I know, I'm discarded like a piece of trash. My marriage was the most important thing to me. I was ghosted by both of them. They are out and about, happy, spending time with our mutual friends and acting like they world is their oyster. Meanwhile I'm abandoned at a rural property with farm animals to manage alone. The divorce is still hostile and ongoing.
I don't know how to make sense of this situation. I did not see this coming. I would have told you I was the happiest I'd ever been just a few months ago. I've never been treated so poorly. My wife is everyone's favorite person. But she can be really quite mean. Friends and family act like it's my fault.
I'm so exhausted from trying to make some sense of it. Anyone been through something like this?

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

My husband and I got our foster license last month, after 3 years of hard work (we had to start over multiple times due to family dramas and Mom's open heart surgery). We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...

Possible divorce myself at one point in my marriage in spite of trying to communicate and work things out. I was sort of fortunate to actually work
Things out but my husband ended up
Dying 9 months later of complications from a heart attack. One thing I have learned is that you can't take what other people say to heart or it will kill you. I had to draw close to God to learn the truth and discard and forgive everyone else who didn't know what they were talking about. Had to discover who I was without my partner and what I wanted and get back to life and living. Maybe running a farm by yourself isn't the right things for you right now. Maybe rent the property out and go live some place where all your stress is greatly reduced and get life back on track. Then you can decide on if you want to keep or sell it and what your next step is. I wish I had done this. Instead I hung onto it until it was such a burden and I couldn't bring myself to be reminded of all the memories of my husband and sold the house way to cheap. God will
Help you heal and he will use this for your good and his glory.
