i know how you feel. im still broken and still in the beginning like you. and my ex doesnt care. i dont know what my advice would be but i can relate to your post.

There *is* no quick fix... it's been 4 months for me; I haven't seen my ex in a month. I have to see him to sign the separation agreement on Wednesday, and I am bringing a friend because it will nearly kill me to see him.

He also betrayed me.

After 4 months, today is the first time I felt even remotely strong.

We were together for a year and a half. It doesn't sound very long but he made me feel like we were going to be tegether forever. Little did I know that I was the only one devoted to this relationship. He was messing around while I was being a devoted girlfriend. I don't understand how anyone can be so immoral.

Like I've said to others on here before: the good news is you got passed the FIRST run-in. It's over now...no more first run-in. Maybe it shook you at first, but now you never have to have the FIRST one again.

Even if you're upset, you're handling it well. You know for a FACT how you would handle it, and how you feel about it.

This is another, small step in the process of moving forward.

Keep reminding yourself that he cheated several times and that is exactly what you need to know how much better you are than that.

I don't know about that. When I saw him I was lingering around him for a bit. It was like I was trying to catch up with him. I could feel myself forgiving him. Sometimes I feel like begging him to take me back.

I'm so sorry. Run ins are the worst. Please do not beg for him back. You do not deserve to be with someone you have to beg for. You deserve someone who will love you completely no matter what. Besides, do you think you would truly be happy if he did take you back after you begged and pleaded? Or do you think you would always wonder if he truly loved you? I've been told that when someone leaves, it's up to them to come back. You can't force someone to love you, but you have to remember that you deserve better and one day that person will come along. I know that's impossible to believe right now, and sometimes I don't believe it myself, but I have to believe it's the truth. My ex left me for the first time in February. He came back to me 4 months later begging for a second chance...then he left me again two weeks later. I'd like to think it's only been 3 and a half months that I've been going through this, but really, it's been 7. And I still struggle most days. You are still at the very beginning stages and it eventually gets a little better each day. I still have days where I feel like I'm back at day one, but I also have days where I feel great. Hang in there.

I, too, had a run in a few weeks back. It was awkward and I cried for a split second when I got in my car and drove off but that was it. It's awkward for you both, that's it nothing more, nothing less. As for wanting to be with him again, you deserve better. You have to remind yourself that you are worth more than what he had to offer and how he treated you. You were devoted and he cheated. No matter what good times you may have shared, you deserve better. You will share good times with someone and they can be faithful. That person is out there but you will not find them by wasting time with this person. Be strong, you deserve better.

I know it's not easy, but think about your future. If you had stayed with him or got back with him you wouldn't be living life to its full potential. Everyone deserves to be happy and to have an honest and loving person in their life. He was with other women, the end. You will get stronger in time. Just don't give up on yourself. You can do this.

I have been worrying about this. Except my ex is out of state, i'm positive of it. I think the next time I see him is when he comes with a moving truck to get the rest of his things. I am afraid I will crumble in front of him and everyone he is with. **HUGS** to you.

I know how you feel. I see my ex almost daily. He comes over here to see the kids, get power tools, mow the lawn, etc. It is not easy. It sometimes make me want him back. It has been like this for 5 months and I just have to apply the NO CONTACT rule. I don't want to get sucked back in. He is abusive. He is so nice to me now as he realizes he screwed up. It is soooo difficult for me to stay strong. We were married for 29 years and have 6 kids.

I keep wanting to see him because I keep thinking that he will change. He will stop lying to me. Right after the breakup he emailed me to say how sorry he was. Two weeks after that he wish me a happy birthday and say how he loves me and will be mature. The day after I ran into him, he texted me again to say he is still sorry for hurting me. But the problem is he won't admit he was sleeping with other women. It is so obvious that he was! All the signs were there! It's angering me so much right now that he cannot be honest.
