I will definitley take it slow. I have a one year lease for my apartment, I don't have to rush into anything. Dating sound good right now.
She says she is willing to change and that she doesn't want to go back to the way it was. She wants me to go with her to her therapists on wednesday
If he wants to be on his own..there is nothing wrong with that.. But to make sure you Somerdad that you make the right choice. You say your happy on your own.. Then continue.. take it slow with her.. maybe date her on and off again and see how that goes.
But as far as what that other dude said about being in a cage and being missrable ... thats not something he or anyone should say UNLESS we know you and your WIFE personally!!!!
Only you can decide if this is right for you. When my stbx cheated on me the first time 23 years ago, I took him back but we didn't take the necessary steps we should have (couples counseling, etc.). I think we are paying for it now with our divorce.
I can speak from experience that it is damn difficult to find that trust and love again after a spouse has cheated. Take things slowly, insist on couples' counseling. She is going to have to prove to you that she is worthy of a second chance.
Good luck.
