No I’m not some crazy paranoid person. But I’ve been spied on by my ex for sometime now and I think thru my phone and I don’t know what I can do about it. Like seeing me, tracking my whereabouts, listening to my conversations. It creeps me out. I just did a phone update hoping that would take care of things but any other suggestions? I mean I’m assuming it’s my phone. I don’t want to do a phone reset.

How do I know he is doing this? He’ll make comments to me that only relate to things I’ve said to people in person, talking on the phone. Uh, just so creepy.

Wow. It sounds like he's definitely done something like cloning or something similar. If he really is doing this, then it's illegal, so take your phone to the police, file a report, take advice and get yourself another phone - hassle, I know, but the peace of mind is better than dealing with some psycho. You're right - very, very creepy

Your intuition is probably right.

Do have minor children together, or are you able to cut all ties? Is it possible this was once your shared cell phone account and his name and password are still on the account, enabling him to install things, or back things up to the cloud and restore things to a second phone (this is how I spy on my teen, BTW). If it were me, I think I'd shop around for another phone and carrier. I wouldn't even confront him...just lose him.

There are apps that are spy blockers to prevent that if you have an iPhone your ex is paying through the nose for that service because iPhone has all this built in anti soy stuff but if you have an Android it's very very easy to turn your camera on and watch you record every phone call even talk to you via your microphone or play music it can be used to gas light you but as far as installing such an app it's very very easy one thing you need to do is check out your icons do you have a new icon that wasn't there before and hit every icon and make sure you can open it because it can be hidden behind an icon and they have it locked where you can't turn the camera off you need to maybe even pays for very good spy detector removal now if it's an iPhone detecting and removing it is damn near impossible and someone that got more knowledge than I do about those phones you would need to talk to also check in your system where you can check your app go to where it shows you all of your apps on Android of course and we might be able to locate it when they're depends on how well they've hdden it. Trackview is one spy app that is elementary in ease of use to spy..
