No really he's not allergic to Dad but is very allergic to cigarette smoke, Which both he and GF do , they try to smoke outside, but that doesn't make any difference. They let son play poker with them until 2 am on Friday nite and everyone in room was smoking. This drives me crazy now son has sinuis problems they called from school to see if I would pick him up .
I know you all are going to say talk to his Dad. I have, I even had the Dr write him a note. But it hasn't done any good. The selfish SOB is going to continue because he wants to.. I called him today and told him he could make and take him to Dr this time.. AS if that will happen. And this is no way a slam on Dads it's just a slam on his DAD..He actually started laughing when I was telling him about it..He's such an idiot!!

He does sound like an idiot. I would make him pay for any out of pocket medical expenses if he doesn't already. Is there anything you can do leagally? Seems like I have read somewhere that if due to health problems you can keep him from smoking in a enclosed area when your son visits him. I hope he wakes up soon and realizes the damage he is causing to your sons health.

i wonder if he could be charged with neglecting his child. i don't care how much trouble i got into, i would not let him go over there until they stop. and his girlfriend is as big an ass as he is.

I would think a medical issue of this magnitude could be addressed by the family court! How horrible for your child.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
