I had a revelation today. All this time I've been thinking that my husband left because I'm not enough for him, but actually I think he might not be enough for me.
He is 32 years old, with a wife and daughter and all he wants it's behave like a 17-year-old with no responsibilities...
It's not enough for me.
That he's taking my kids on the vacation and trying to make a place in their lives still makes me jealous as all hell and will take some more work on my part.
I still have bad days, but they're more focused on my kids and how little I get to see them. I've just been hoarding the good feelings from when I get to see them to make it through the hard times.
I'm so happy to hear that you've turned a corner for the better and see that there's life beyond this horribleness. Remember you're never alone.
My point is eventually I stopped caring about how many. Doesn't matter to me how many anymore. She is not the same person I knew, loved or cared for. I no longer worry about her, only myself and the kids. Repairing myself and getting stronger everyday and moving on.
Your on your way to healing. Stay strong and positive.
