Basically my wife and I had a lot of problems last year culminating in us separating in October, her choice not mine. I did the whole giving her space and time to try work things out it didn’t work. I then pleaded and begged for a chance to try and work it out but still nothing back from her, ended up buying another house whilst she stays in the marital home with the kids etc.
About 2 months ago I met someone else who absolutely adores me and talks about a future together etc
As it was starting to get serious out of respect I told my wife, she broke down in tears on the phone saying she was heartbroken etc, we ended up meeting up and talking where she told me she was jealous, still loved me etc etc and we ended up sleeping together a couple of times which we both agreed was great and like the good days we had. I thought this meant we’d be trying again but she is very non commital and tells me she needs timeand space to decide if it’s what she wants and can get past the issues we had. I just don’t understand it, we’ve been married nearly 6 years and together for 16 years. I’m now torn on what to do as the last 6 months have been the worst of my life and I just want to try and move on together and be happy. Why does it feel like she is just stringing me along? I’m very much an all or nothing type of person. Why won’t she commit to saving our marriage? What do I do? I really want to make a go of our marriage but I don’t know how much longer I can take being left hanging. I really want to sort things with my wife but she is calling all the shots, saying she’s not sure what she wants now and that this could take years for her to get over it. I can’t live my life in limbo but don’t want to give up on my marriage. Any advice is most welcome

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
Now, I don't think you're being treated fairly at all. Even so, you need to fight for her. Fight for your marriage. The problem is figuring out how. Figuring out where the battleground is. Prayers bro.
First off, I would say that you set a reasonable time frame to give your wife to decide what she wants, and stick to it. You can't spend the rest of your life waiting for her to make up her mind, only to miss genuine opportunities with people that would be good to you. If she truly loves you, the answer should be clear.
Second, think about how you feel about your wife, and think about how you feel about the other woman. Fear of moving on, and losing all the time you spent with your wife may cloud your judgement, but be true to yourself.
I honestly must say that your wife wanting to be intimate with you only after you found someone else is not a good sign. She may want to retain claim over you while not not giving the commitment you deserve back.
How much time should you spend waiting? You definitely should not wait years, that is for sure.
