March 4, 2007, I met the man of my dreams.... I have nothing bad to say about him except he just broke my heart Feb 10, 2013.
We had almost 6 great years together and up until 3 weeks ago January 26th. We found a house that we loved, he went as far as to put his house on the market to sell, as the house we lived in, is very cramped. He got pre-approved and everything. Then he changed his mind. He said he cannot sell and is not ready yet, meanwhile all this was his idea. We went to the Bahamas the first week of Feb, got back on the eighth. On the 10th he broke up with me, stating I don't hear him when he says things, that we do not want the same things and etc. then on the 18th, I moved out and in with a girlfriend. I went to get the rest of my things from his house on the 22nd and I asked him WTF... He stated that we have a chemistry imbalance and that he had been feeling this way for a couple of years. He stated, that I was great and etc and that he should want to marry me but, those feelings are not there for me. He is divorced and said. I have had the I want to get married feeling in the past and that he had the feeling when he married his wife, now divorced. He said he had that I want to get married feeling one other time with a girlfriend, he never asked her to marry him, they broke up. So, he said, he knows what the feeling should feel like.
This was my first weekend without him and it was very tough. I will not call him and have deactivated my facebook account. We had tons of vacation pics posted on there. I have spent the weekend talking with girlfriends and guy friends. The general consensus is he will be back. I told them all that I do not want to think that.

Its tough for sure, but as each weekend comes, try to plan something for yourself. Even if its just getting in the car and driving to a nearby town to check it out. Your profile says you are in MA. I know when I was there, I spent a lot of weekend cruising up to the mountains in NH and/or Maine. Went down to Plymouth Rock, which I still can't believe it just a rock. :) There is a lot you can venture out to in your area, small towns, art fairs, and dont forget kettle popcorn.
