Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I agree with the person who suggested you call suicide prevention helpline. They are experienced there...much more than us. I also suggest if you are able to, get some counseling for yourself. This is not something you can work out by posting on a forum. I'm not saying there is something wrong with you, I'm saying you need guidance.

You are in danger. Being nice has nothing to do with it, besides making you more vulnerable to exploitation by him. Get out, cut all contact and do not let him know where you've gone for at least a year or two. This means breaking with your family as well. You're safety is all that matters. I guarantee he will simply move on to another woman who's willing to allow him to dump his excess emotional garbage on her. There are a lot of dumb bunnies out there, that don't realize the danger until it's too late.
