The same thing happened to me.
My wife stopped haveing feeligs for me and the sex stopped.
Which was good cause she was cheating on me . Once she stopped I stopped asking and being romantic with her. Pats worst decision was to cheat on me. I couldnt take her back after that. I was scared I would catch a disease.
that is something to think about.
if she stopped sleeping with you.
Who or where is she getting that need met?
God I miss sex.
It has almost been a year.
It hurts me too ..
I met the man pat cheated on me with .
We had been seperated for a few months . she brought him to pick up the kidsone day.
He stood their at my front door. with my wife.
Like it was all forgiven and ok.
What they did hurt and tore apart a family.
I really wanted to kick his @55
I never dreamed it would come to this but it is a sure warning sign that the connection is lost, or at least unraveling when being initimate is not a mutual desire. I wish I knew that before as I would have instantly demanded counseling when it happened.
But that is old news isn't it? The key is to move on from this %#%^$^ thing that has happened. Still figuring that one out. Great story you told. It helps to know I am not the only one...
I know if they are mad at you you all but forget about a romp.
But women are more about the felings in their head for you as well when it comes to satifaction.
I had a way of getting her to do it even if she was too tired, and would always here after: thats was great.
Sounds to me like you did alot of things right.
Maybe it was just that you too weren't very compatible. Too many people will stay with someone just because.
You need someone that really feels the spark, thats were it all starts and stays. When you find that gal you will never want for it, you will have all you can handle. I see couples that are just ok. There are others that can't keep thier hands off each other years and years down the road. There are others that just seem so compatible that they were made for each other.
Keep them eye's open my friend.
I can completely sympathize with your feelings of emotional abandonment. It's a real self-esteem kicker. Sexual rejection and physical and emotional abandonment along with the selfishness marked my marriage. What I have learned was I cannot compensate for someone elses problems. But in my choice of my next partner. I am definately looking for somone who has is more emotionally available and able to communicate. Unfortunately that means that you wait longer to tango but it's not worth another gut buster relationship!
My STBX and I didn't have sex for the last couple years of our marriage, but she was kind of 8,000 miles away so I don't know how much I can relate to this. When she's not going to be around it's kind of a forgone conclusion that there's not going to be any sex and I just accepted it. For her I guess it was just something she couldn't deal with so she hooked up with someone else. Not my fault and I'm glad she's gone now.
