Back in march I had an ambien episode, medics were called . They stayed around until I came back to my senses. My wife took the kids and went to my in laws house for the night. The next day she notified me that the episode scared her so back that she wants a divorce. we have only been married 1 year , what happen to better or worse.
She did not offer to take to a doctor or find out why I had such a sider effect from the ambien, she was just done.
She told me to get out of the house so she and the kids could stay. I could not get an apartment on such a short notice so we continues to live int he same house until July. During this time I continues to profess my love for her and the family and how I was against the separation. For a couple of weeks just prior to me moving out we had a wonderful time ,like we were dating all over again. Then one day she just moved out of the bedroom and nvere came back until it was my move out date.
It has only been one week and she has removed any sign of me in the house. She told me that we are married on paper only and that I am a stranger to her the same as the first time we met.
I come home to this empty silent apartment and it is tearing me apart mentally. I cant get any answers from my wife, I am at a loss and confused.
You know whenever I had any health issues my husband wouldn't help or even have any reaction, and I always thought how weird and horrible is.
People told me because he is a man and thats how man are, I never believe it,
And Im sorry I have no advice.
Just sounds super weird what she did, almost like she was waiting for an excuse.
Most women don't get married because they love you : they love the 'benefits' you provide, to her you are a utility. Your worth to her is what she can gain from you : that is why it's easy for her to dispose of you very quickly. Her only concern is her, you don't matter to her, she doesn't care about your health, all that you have done for her for years is irrelevant, she wants to dispose of you as fast as possible.
I am saying this so that you know that she doesn't care about you and doesn't love you, and probably never did. So that you can start taking care of yourself and loving yourself. Stop being needy : she is taking advantage of that : the more needy you are the more nasty she will be
To clear the confusion for you : your wife is having an affair. You can start looking for evidence, but I don't needy any. She is leaving you for her affair partner, that's why she is in such a hurry to get rid of you. The affair has being going on for a while now.
I hope u do understand that her leaving u has nothing to do with your ambien episode : that is her excuse. She will leave you blaming yourself for something that's her fault
Investigate her affair, and don't be needy, stop doing things etc being extra romantic, begging, flowers, crying, to get her to stay or change her mind, it doesn't work.
You clearly state to her as a man that you wouldn't want the marriage to end, but if she wants a divorce so be it : she can't stay married against her will. Tell you don't believe her lousy excuses and you suspect she has being having an affair. Tell her you won't be moving out until the divorce is finalised : and since she's the one filing she can move out if she isn't comfortable anymore.
Her responses will change : you are a man and you have this masculine energy in you of wanting something and not being needy, being self respecting and expecting to be respected in return. Man are built to handle crisis, even war, just channel this energy inside you.
If you investigate into seeing if she is having an affair. Do not tell her or throw this in her face! Use it in court! You seem kind hearted so its up to you if you want to sell the house and split the money. HOWEVER, if she is having an affair you will gain a lot. Let the "other man" if he exist provide for her. But do make sure he exist! My step father is an alcoholic and got in A LOT of trouble, good man. However, after rehab my mom stated he needed to prove he was better by living on his own for a 1 yr. Outside of the home! His children convinced him my mom must have another man. But NOPE, they hired a personsl investigator too lol, nothing was found. My mom is very loyal and ol' school. So be clear, and go back to your home if all is well and there are no restaints
