I hear ya guys. This isolation is over bearing. I am trying to get my truck and trailer together to go to the Oregon coast. Then this freekin blizzard hit and shut everything down. Its freekin 0 right now. I am hoping to get out of here this week but I dont know. I need to get way and go to the ocean. When I get back I have to have papers served on the ex. She wants me to pay untill my kid is 19 and he wont even have anything to do with me. So this trip is much needed. But this isolation is really eating me up. If I had just a female freind to chill with and talk to I would be happy.

I think there are wierdos on all the dating sites, but the was POF works here if the punter states what they are looking for ie LTR or dating or friendship - whatever.

I joined there, and didn't try to contact anybody initially. As my confidence grew, i would log on in the morning and just see who was on line in my area. If they and their profile looked inteesting i sent just a simple message like "Good Morning'

Many of the women who bothered to answer were in the same boat I was in and just looking for someone to talk to. I met some great ladies and made some very good friends out of a simple "Good morning"

This is where I met the guy I dated twice. He did seem nice but maybe I was just expecting too much. I got a lot of responses but a lot of them will not post pictures, therefore you don't know who you're talking to. Some of the guys did come right out and tell you what they want, they were deleted. Others seemed nice, some are from states not even close to me so why do you want to talk when you're so far away. Acouple of guys one from Seattle and one from Maryland wanted to relocate because they liked my picture, one asked me to marry him. So those are the different kinds of people you meet on Plentyoffish women do those things too. I just deleted my account this morning. I hope you have better luck than me.

I have no idea how to meet a man, probably pretty hard to with two loud and very active boys that go everywhere I do! Before I have them I tried the internet and after many many months of communication I went to see him. Holy man what a shocker that was, he met me at the airport with his friend and his friends girl friend, they were all really nice. Then when I got to go to his place found out his was living in a mobile home with his Mother and two brothers, all in their 30's and oh ya he was on PAROLE. lol Oh me and my luck with men! Still I did have a nice vacation out of it, got to see some new places and generally had a great time. Then smiled sweetly got on the plane and got the hell outta there.
Today I am thinking I am not in a position for a relationship but sometimes a hook-up sounds sorta tempting. I get what you mean Cuda, it would be nice to just hang out and talk with someone.

I met a few people off the fish site. Hook ups? Maybe. I hung out with one fella pretty exclusively for over a year, no ties no big deal, we would watch movies and have fun, but if that's a hookup then so be it.

I am usually a very confident person very out going with a positive out look on life. I love to help people. But I dont like being used. That was the problem with my ex and my son. Lying and using. Its bad enough with one person but with both of them loadin up 12 gauges and blastin away its prety hard. I am like you its hard to find sombody.
